SAPMA introduces a new SAPMA, and NCS colour course. This course has been specifically designed to assist all members within the Coatings Sector to obtain a basic knowledge and understanding of colour as a visual phenomenon. This newly developed online course has been well received by many of the architects within our Sector and now SAPMA along with NCS Colour would like to extend the invite for online training to all our SAPMA members.
A thorough explanation of the Natural Colour System theory together with a series of exercises will be covered. Colour usage and design in South Africa will also be discussed.
An internationally recognised certificate of completion will be awarded to each student upon completion of the colour training module.

MULTIPLE CHOICE ASSESSMENTS AND FINAL AT THE END OF THE COURSE
RETAIL VIDEO TRAINING
The retail training will be open to all sapma member
retailers, including non-members, subject to terms and conditions. the training
modules can be viewed from the sapma website. after each module is viewed, the
trainee will be required to complete an online assessment on the lesson, before
the trainee can move to the next module, until all ten modules are successfully
completed. once the trainee has successfully completed all ten assessments, the
trainee will be required to pass an overall assessment of all the modules and
will receive a certificate of competence from sapma.
Subject matter of the course covers use of correct painting systems, what materials and tools to be used, plus important health & safety advice;
Painting new and previously painted gutters and downpipes
Painting new and previously painted internal cement plastered walls
Painting of bathroom tiles
